Terms of Service

By installing or using the Video Research Vault Chrome extension ("Video Research Vault," "the extension," or "the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not install or use Video Research Vault.

Video Research Vault is operated by Six Cents Productions, LLC ("Six Cents," "we," "us," or "our").

Video Research Vault is a Chrome browser extension that enables users to save YouTube video and thumbnail reference data to a Google Sheet with a single click. The extension uses the YouTube Data API v3 and the Google Sheets API to provide this functionality. The extension operates without a backend server - all extension data is stored locally on your device or written directly to your own Google Sheet.

If a save fails due to a lost internet connection, the extension queues the save locally and retries automatically when connectivity is restored. Queued saves expire after 7 days if they cannot be completed. If a queued save's target collection no longer exists at the time of retry, the video is saved to your All Saves tab and you will be notified.

All Saves is a protected system tab in your Google Sheet where every saved video is recorded. If the All Saves tab is removed or renamed, the extension will recreate it automatically without affecting your other collections, settings, or license status. You should not rename or delete the All Saves tab, but if you do, the extension recovers gracefully.

You must be at least 13 years of age to use Video Research Vault (or at least 16 if you are located in the European Union, or the applicable age of digital consent in your jurisdiction). By using the extension, you represent that you meet this requirement. If you are using Video Research Vault on behalf of a business or organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

Six Cents reserves the right to introduce paid tiers at any time. If a paid tier is introduced, existing users with valid activation keys will not be retroactively charged. Notice will be provided prior to any pricing changes.

By using Video Research Vault, you agree that you will not:

• Use the extension in any way that violates YouTube's Terms of Service or Google's API Terms of Service
• Attempt to circumvent free tier usage limits through technical means
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the extension
• Use the extension to collect data at scale, automate data harvesting, or scrape YouTube in violation of YouTube's Terms of Service
• Share, sell, or transfer activation keys to third parties
• Use the extension for any unlawful purpose

Your use of the YouTube Data API through Video Research Vault is also subject to the YouTube Terms of Service and Google's API Terms of Service.

Video Research Vault uses Google APIs. By using Video Research Vault, you are also agreeing to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service and Google's Terms of Service. Your use of YouTube data through this extension is subject to Google's Privacy Policy.

Six Cents is not affiliated with Google or YouTube. Video Research Vault is an independent product.

Video Research Vault, including its code, design, and branding, is the property of Six Cents Productions, LLC. Nothing in these Terms grants you any right to use the Six Cents or Video Research Vault name, logo, or trademarks without our prior written consent.

Your use of Video Research Vault is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. Please review our Privacy Policy at sixcentsprod.com/tools/video-research-vault/privacy.

Video Research Vault is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. Six Cents does not warrant that the extension will be uninterrupted, error-free, or compatible with all browser configurations. We do not guarantee that the extension will remain available or that its features will remain unchanged.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Six Cents Productions, LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of Video Research Vault, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of revenue, or loss of business opportunity. In no event shall Six Cents' total aggregate liability exceed the greater of (a) the amounts you have paid to Six Cents in the twelve months preceding the claim, or (b) one hundred U.S. dollars ($100).

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Six Cents Productions, LLC, its officers, directors, and agents from and against any claims, losses, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your use of Video Research Vault, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party terms or rights.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to Video Research Vault, including revoking your activation key, at any time and for any reason, including but not limited to violation of these Terms. You may stop using Video Research Vault at any time by uninstalling the extension from your browser.

We may update these Terms at any time. When we do, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. Your continued use of Video Research Vault after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. If changes are material, we will make reasonable efforts to notify newsletter subscribers.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of Video Research Vault shall be resolved in the courts of Texas.

If you are a consumer in the European Union or European Economic Area, nothing in this section shall deprive you of the protection afforded by the mandatory provisions of the consumer protection laws of your country of residence, or of your right to bring proceedings in the courts of your country of residence.

Severability. If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.

Entire Agreement. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Six Cents Productions, LLC regarding your use of Video Research Vault, superseding any prior agreements or understandings.
